Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, dogs are welcome on the rooftop, in the café and the tower, but not in the cave.
The café and patio is wheelchair accessible; however the rooftop terrace, Giant’s Cave and Museum are not. Additionally, the cave, accessed by 130 steep steps, is not suitable for children under 4, those with mobility issues, or people who suffer from claustrophobia.
We allow walk-ins for our attractions, the 360 café and the Rooftop Terrace.
Tickets are single-use and are valid at any time of day during opening hours (10am – 5pm) for a year after purchase.

Clifton Observatory doesn’t have designated parking, however there is meter parking on the streets nearby, notably Clifton Down Road and Observatory Road. We are approximately a 5-minute walk from the bus stop on Observatory Road where the number 8 bus to Temple Meads rail station stops, and a 20-minute walk from Clifton Down rail station.
