The Clifton Observatory was the perfect venue for our party, not only does it offer the best view in Bristol overlooking the iconic Clifton suspension bridge, but its unique, full of history and beautiful inside and out. We made the most of the roof terrace and vista in the glorious summer sunshine, then partied the night away in the William West rooms – a brilliant combination.
The team at the observatory were incredibly helpful with all the planning, venue visits and recommendations, as well as being on-hand to assist with the last minute organisation on the day. Papadeli prepared all the delicious food and were able to utilise the on-site kitchen facilities.

In the Summer of 2018 we booked the Clifton Observatory for a volunteer event. The booking process was very straight forward and Claire was very helpful, from arranging to meet us to show us around the venue to accommodating all of our requests. On the day Kieron was fantastic at helping us set up the music and projector within the venue. We had access to the Camera Obscura, the exhibition as well as the roof terrace and the William West room. Our volunteers all agreed that the venue was brilliant, and that it was the perfect place with a great view to celebrate their fantastic work for the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
